Leicester City have officially announced that their home ground, the Walkers Stadium, will play host to a Leicester City vs Real Madrid pre-season friendly in July 2011. The Leicester Real Madrid friendly will take place on July 30, 2011, and will be Real Madrid’s only pre-season fixture in the United Kingdom before the 2011/2012 season.
The game will be the first ever meeting between Leicester City and Real Madrid.
The friendly means that fans of Leicester, whose manager is Sven Goran Eriksson could see the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, Angel Di Maria, Xabi Alonso and Mesut Ozil in action in this pre-season 2011 friendly.
