Arsenal look to lock up a spot in the Champions League group stage in the second leg of a play-off against Fenerbahce.
These two clubs matched up a week earlier in Turkey, with Arsenal coming away with a 3-0 victory thanks to second-half goals by Kieran Gibbs, Aaron Ramsey and OlivierGiroud. This outcome makes it incredibly difficult for Fenerbahce to win on aggregate score.
The Turkish club will have to score four goals just to win, although a similar 3-0 result would tie things up. Still, this quality group should not be counted out after last season's second-place finish in the Super Lig.
As for Arsenal, the Premier League squad simply has to avoid a meltdown and it will earn a spot in the UCL group stage for the 16th year in a row.
Arsenal proved in its opening win that it is the superior club, although that does not mean it will look to run up the score in this match.
The Gunners will be smart to take a conservative approach from the start as they look to utilize the three-goal lead. They will try to maintain possession for a long time and prevent as many scoring chances as possible from their opponent.
Fenerbahce should be able to at least get one across thanks to a solid counter-attack, although Arsenal is unlikely to ever really be in danger of losing in the overall playoff.
This match will not feature much excitement, but Arsene Wenger's squad will do enough to qualify for the group stage in Champions League.
